Emily Peterson - Attorney

Emily B. Peterson is an Attorney with Tressler Law. Prior to joining Tressler Law in 2014, Emily served as a law clerk in Hennepin County for the Honorable Karen A. Janisch, the Honorable Jack S. Nordby, and the Honorable Regina M. Chu and in Olmsted County for the Honorable Joseph F. Chase. Through her experiences in working in family, civil and criminal court, Emily brings a practical and balanced approach in working with family law matters. She partners with clients to understand their goals and work towards the best possible outcome.

Emily is an alumna of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts and Letters. Emily is also an alumna of the University of St. Thomas School of Law graduating with a Juris Doctor.

In the past, Emily has been involved with the Minnesota Justice Foundation as well as served on the University of St. Thomas Alumni Board of Directors. She is an active member of the Family Law League, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and Minnesota Women Lawyers.
